Device: Intravascular delivery and placement of occlusion coils into tributaries. System includes coil delivery catheter (CDC), and introducer catheter (IC) used for visualization.
Task– Worked from 2d sketches from Industrial Designer (designDESIGN) and design/model, following good plastic design practices. Design required multiple detent positions with fine radial adjustment. The unit was made to be more user friendly and more cost effective than previous version.
Usage: Intravascular delivery and placement of occlusion coils into tributaries. System includes Coil delivery catheter, and introducer catheter used for visualization.
Task– Using foam models and 2d layout from Industrial Designer (designDESIGN) designed/modeled. Used advanced surfacing techniques to model the pistol grip controller.
Task- Industrial Design and packaging of the first handheld wireless intraoral camera for dental imaging. Incorporated RF circuitry to transmit video output to a monitor or recording device. Packaging required cooling and serviceability of high intensity lamp and isolation of RF transmission circuitry.
Task- Using 2d layout from Industrial Designer (designDESIGN) designed/modeled casing and packaged all components and keypads required. Included full documentation package for assembly and manufacturing proposes. Used advanced surfacing techniques to model cradle and hand held device.
Task: Worked from Customer rendering to package components into the constraints of the outer shape. Designed outer case keypad to adapt to desired look and feel. Truly was an exercise in packaging with extreme size and cost constraints.
Task: Modeled and documented device. Included performing stress analysis using Pro Mechanica and ANASYS. As well as producing a video from the model to be used as a demonstration to doctors, which compared newer design to old design cutting volume.

Task: Model a 1964 Chevy Impala chassis. Design chassis to house 4 motors to independently raise and lower each wheel at a very fast rate, to create a hopping motion.
Very cost sensitive project.
Task: Models generated from 2d data supplied by customer. An exercise in complex sculptured surfaces and blends.
